Pinterest Studio is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. The extension operates entirely within your browser and does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal information.
Information Collection
Pinterest Studio does not collect any personal information. We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, cookies, or any form of data collection. The extension has no access to your browsing history, Pinterest account data, passwords, or personal identification.
Settings Storage
The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage APIs:
- Theme preferences and selected themes
- Color settings and design token overrides
- Typography settings (font family, size)
- Layout and spacing preferences
- Feature toggles (ad hiding, focus mode, etc.)
- Extension configuration
This data is stored using chrome.storage.sync (synced across your Chrome browsers when signed in) and chrome.storage.local (device-specific settings). No data is transmitted to any external server.
Data Usage
Pinterest Studio operates with the following principles:
- No analytics or tracking of any kind
- No advertisements served
- No user profiling or fingerprinting
- No data selling or sharing with third parties
- No remote servers or external connections

Pinterest Access
The extension requires access to Pinterest pages solely to apply themes, customization settings, and user-selected visual enhancements. It reads Pinterest's CSS design tokens to understand the current color scheme and injects your custom styles. The extension does not read your pins, comments, messages, or any user-generated content.
Third-Party Services
The Typography Studio offers Google Fonts integration. When you select a Google Font, the extension loads the font file directly from Google's CDN. This is subject to Google's privacy policy. No other third-party services are used.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, users will be notified through the extension's changelog and the website. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
