CSSStyleSheet and adoptedStyleSheets, and carefully targeted selectors. You won't notice any impact on page load times or scrolling smoothness.Can I create my own themes? ▼
Yes. The Theme Studio in the sidepanel allows you to create custom themes using a full color picker and design token editor. You can adjust every Pinterest color variable individually and see changes applied instantly with live preview.
How does ad hiding work? ▼
The extension detects promoted pins, sponsored content, shopping ads, and video ads by analyzing Pinterest's DOM structure and text content. It uses a MutationObserver to continuously watch for new content as you scroll, automatically hiding any detected ads without page refresh.
Is my data sent to servers? ▼
No. All theme preferences, color settings, typography choices, and extension configuration are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's
storage.sync and storage.local APIs. No data is ever sent to external servers.Can I export themes? ▼
Theme export and import features are in development and will be available in a future update. For now, you can manually note your color values from the Color Studio controls.
How do I reset settings? ▼
Each section in the sidepanel has its own reset button. You can reset the theme, colors, fonts, and spacing individually from their respective tabs. To reset everything, simply click the "Reset" button on the Home tab when a theme is active.
